About
Built for What Comes Next
Hello Again Solar is an Australian clean-technology company focused on solving one of the next challenges created by the energy transition: what happens to solar panels when they reach the end of their useful life.
We are developing technology and commercial pathways to recover more value from retired solar modules, reduce waste and support a circular solar economy.
Our work brings together technology development, engineering, recycling, material recovery and industry collaboration with a clear objective: build a solution that can operate at commercial scale.
Our Mission & Vision
Our mission
To make high-value solar-panel recycling commercially practical and help keep the materials used in clean-energy infrastructure in circulation.
Our vision
A solar industry in which end-of-life panels are treated as a resource, not a waste problem.
Recovery First
We believe that materials recovered at the highest possible grade create the most value — for our customers, for the environment, and for Australia's supply chains.
Sovereign Capability
We are committed to building domestic infrastructure that keeps material value onshore and strengthens Australia's ability to manage its own clean-energy waste.
Industry Partnership
We work closely with solar installers, distributors, asset owners and government to build solutions that are practical, commercially viable and scalable.
Our Story
A Problem Worth Solving
The founders of Hello Again Solar recognised that Australia's solar boom was creating a future waste challenge that the industry was not yet equipped to handle. Millions of panels installed over the past decade are approaching the end of their useful life — and without proper end-of-life infrastructure, the materials inside them will be lost.
We set out to build a better answer. One that recovers the glass, aluminium, silicon, silver and copper locked inside end-of-life panels, and returns them to productive use in Australian supply chains.
We are currently progressing from validated results toward a structured pilot programme — building the operational, commercial and regulatory foundations for a national solar recycling capability, based in New South Wales.
Why Australia
A National Opportunity
Australia has one of the highest rates of solar panel adoption per capita in the world — which means it also faces one of the largest end-of-life challenges. That challenge is also an opportunity.
Building domestic solar recycling capability creates skilled jobs, improves installer productivity, retains material value onshore, and positions Australia — and New South Wales in particular — as a leader in the circular management of clean-energy infrastructure.
We are proud to be building that capability here, for Australia, with Australian industry partners.
01
Skilled Jobs
Creating new employment in advanced materials recovery and circular economy operations.
02
Material Value Onshore
Keeping the value of recovered silicon, silver, copper, aluminium and glass within the Australian economy.
03
Installer Productivity
Reducing the complexity and cost of responsible panel disposal for solar installers and distributors.
04
NSW Leadership
Positioning New South Wales as an early leader in the circular management of solar infrastructure.
